John Mayall’s career is one of the most storied in rock and roll. As leader of 60’s legends The Bluesbreakers, he discovered and mentored a who’s who of rock legends: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Peter Green, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Aynsley Dunbar are just a few of the great British rockers who got their start with Mayall. He’s continued to perform and record prolifically. His latest CD, Tough, was released in September of this year and features his great new band that includes Texas rock/blues legend Rocky Athas on guitar.
